There isn't a specific test for prostate cancer but a PSA blood test may detect whether there is a problem with your prostate. Any man over the age of 50 and younger men at increased risk can ask their GP for the test.

Some men over the age of 50 have problems with their 'waterworks', i.e having to go more often at night, daytime frequency, poor stream and difficulty initiating. Please see your GP if you have any of these symptoms. You do not have to suffer in silence.
